Extension sets for frame clamps
The extension set includes 4 threaded rods, 550 mm in length, and 4 coupling nuts. The length of the rods is deliberately 50 mm shorter than the rods in the frame clamps. This eliminates the blind spot created by the coupling nut.
If your frame happens to be of a size such that the clamp blocks are impeded by the coupling nuts (about 600 mm), simply remove the 600 mm rods from the clamp blocks and swap them for the shorter extension rods, then re-attach the 600 mm rods with the coupling nuts. This moves the blind spot back from the clamp blocks.
