Open Classes
For the novice and experienced woodworker
This format is designed for students looking for ongoing tuition and is now open to beginners as well as those with prior experience.
Like all of the classes we will focus on traditional techniques using hand tools wherever practical.
If you are just starting out we will guide you through a series of set projects designed to introduce you to the fundamental tools and techniques.
With more experience we can help you with a number of more complex set projects like the step ladder, the bread box, the saw bench and lots more.
If you’re ready for it, we can help you design and make your own project.
No experience necessary.
Sign up for a block of 9 x 3 hour classes.
Wood is provided for beginner set projects. For more advanced projects, provide your own wood or it can be sourced for you.
All tools and equipment provided (except PPE) but you are welcome to bring along your own tools.
Bring your own PPE (ear muffs, safety glasses and dust mask)
Option to re-enrol at the end of each block.

Tuesday mornings (10:00am - 1:00pm)

Wednesday nights (6:00pm - 9:00pm)
Term 1 : January 29 - March 26
Term 2 : April 30 - June 25
Term 3 : July 23 - September 17
Term 4 : October 15 - December 10
